Our Remarkable Friends ~ The Burman Family

On June 8, 2017, our daughter, Willow Irene was born still... through it all I felt a sense of calmness and peace. It was out of my hands. There was a bigger plan for our sweet daughter, Willow. Although we don't understand God's will, we trust His heart.

Living through something like this has given me a sense of compassion and love I never imagined possible. I noticed all of the little gestures of the people around me during this time. Some were small and some extreme - but none went un-noticed. What is holding us back from extending these kinds of gestures throughout our day-to-day lives? Everything around us can be so negative at times. Why not spread a little JOY! Donate your time, SMILE more, share your talents and skills with other people, think of OTHERS for a change. How can you help someone else?

October 2017 I began an annual kindness campaign called Be Like The Willow Movement. I'd like to invite you to be a part of our community that's making a positive impact by random acts of kindness. You can find us by searching #BeLikeTheWillow on Facebook.  Looking forward to having you as part of #BeLikeTheWillow movement!  Go out there and do great things ...
